Columbia Law School Human Rights Clinic Releases Report on Trial of Five Alleged Members of the Organization of Thai Federation for Trialwatch

The TrialWatch project of the Columbia Human Rights Clinic issued a report on the Bangkok trial of four individuals, finding their trial and conviction for "membership in a secret society" violated international law. The report, which TrialWatch Expert Demetra Sorvatzioti graded a D, found this trial violated the defendants' rights to a fair trial and to free expression under international law and, in particular, upended the principle of legality.
