Student Human Rights Action Fund
As part of our commitment to nurturing a vibrant human rights culture within CLS, HRI provides funding to support student-led human rights initiatives. The HRI Student Human Rights Action Fund presents a significant opportunity for CLS students to organize and lead various activities aimed at fostering awareness and engagement around human rights issues on campus and in the wider community. For Spring 2025, we invite proposals specifically focused on human rights issues in the United States.
Key Features:
- Grant Amount: Starting from $500 up to $2,500
- Eligibility: Open to all CLS students, including JDs, LLMs, and JSDs.
Diverse Initiatives Encouraged:
The grants are designed to encompass a wide array of activities, from engaging workshops to insightful seminars and impactful initiatives – all centered around promoting human rights. We especially welcome activities focused on campus. We welcome and encourage diverse approaches to address human rights challenges.
Application Process:
To apply, interested students can simply fill out a brief form, articulating how the funding will enhance their initiative. The submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis for the Spring 2025 Semester until 24 January 2025 at 12:00pm.
